WWE Planning Major Feud For Fin Balor For His Return !!!

On a Monday Night Raw in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Finn Balor debuted in the ring on the WWE main roster. He was put into a fatal-4-way match to decide one of the men fighting for the WWE Universal championship against Seth Rollins. The Architect was waiting for the winner. That match ended up taking place at SummerSlam. Balor’s introduction to the WWE Universe couldn’t have been sweeter. He won the fatal-4-way to compete in the main event against Roman Reigns on WWE Raw.
The moment was immediately bittersweet, due to the overwhelming assumption that Reigns would win and move on to the main event of SummerSlam against his former-Shield partner. Balor and Reigns had a great match, which was their second of the evening in Pittsburgh. The former-WWE NXT champion surprisingly came out on top to become the no.1 contender for the WWE Universal championship. At SummerSlam, it only got better for the Demon.
Balor would go on to defeat Rollins in his first pay-per-view match, first title match, and first singles match in the WWE. The WWE Universe was in complete shock as he took out Rollins, but it actually was the other way around. Rollins performed his buckle bomb move into the barricade, which tore ligaments in Balor’s shoulder. He hasn’t returned since the injury that night and isn’t supposed to come back for at least a few more months.
Then again, John Cena could’ve give him his “magic potion” to heal much quicker than expected. For WWE fans, that’s what they are all hoping for. It wasn’t an easy injury if that’s any indication of an estimated return time. Periodically, Finn Balor would provide an update on his Twitter or Instagram page. In a recent post by Balor on Twitter, he updated WWE fans on his status.
That wasn’t the only comment Balor has made on his WWE return in the past week. According to a recent post by the WWE News And Rumors, the Irish-born WWE star talked to Sam Roberts about his healing process and rehabilitation schedule.
“Six hours of rehab every day. Three in the morning, yeah, three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon. And the guys down in Birmingham, Alabama have been incredible. I’ve been working out with them everyday.”
“Yeah, last week [the sling came off]. Like down here, I feel real good, but I’ve got to be real careful. The target’s WrestleMania. There’s talk it could be sooner, but really that’s the hard target. And that’s what I’m aiming for right now.”
Hopefully, he heals up quickly in order to return at the best time for the WWE Universe. He never lost his WWE Universal belt, as it was hard to see him forfeit it to Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley the next night on Monday Night Raw. That brought up one thing Balor said on Sam Roberts’ podcast. He didn’t hold up the belt when he won, but not for the reason WWE fans believed.
Balor couldn’t hold up the WWE Universal title because he was hurt, but nobody knew that yet except for him. People believed it was due to the WWE Universe reacting terribly to the design of the championship belt. There were rumors Balor could return at Roadblock: End of the Line. Those were debunked when Balor posted his update that can be seen above.
It just wouldn’t be possible in a physical aspect. Now, the Royal Rumble is likely as a surprise entrant. He still has to get Rollins or Owens back and try to win back his WWE Universal championship. WrestleMania is the most likely time to get the Demon King back on WWE television. For wrestling fans, the sooner, the better.
