WWE Announce Triple H Return Date !!!!!

Triple H returned to WWE television during the main event of the August 22 edition of Monday Night Raw. It was the first time we’d seen him since his loss to Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 32, and his actions on the show — which included him costing Seth Rollins the WWE Universal Championship, and basically handing it to Kevin Owens — led many to believe that he’d be on television more often. But we haven’t seen him since.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, we probably won’t see Triple H back on WWE television again until after the NFL season concludes. In short, Triple H wants to return to television when there’s no strong competition on Monday nights, so he can take credit for the ratings going back up.
“So [Seth Rollins vs. Triple H] will probably be at either Rumble or Mania. Triple H could show up at the Rumble and throw Seth out. Football season ends in January, so I figure that’s when Triple H is gonna show up — the first week of no football, so that way, the rating is gonna go way up. So, that would probably be the timing of it.”
On this past Monday’s Raw, Seth Rollins called out Triple H, but instead, he got a match with the returning Big Show, and then he was later booked in a match against Chris Jericho, which will take place later this month at WWE Roadblock: End of the Line.
It’s been rumored for months that Triple H was going to return and take on his former protege, Seth Rollins, at WrestleMania 33. But if you ask WWE legend Ric Flair, the company should put “The Game” in the ring with someone else at their biggest show of the year.
While speaking on his podcast, the Ric Flair Show, Flair said that WWE should book Triple H vs. Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 33, because there’s a lot of unknown and very real animosity between the two.
“I see Shane vs. Triple H at WrestleMania, that’s what I see, that would really draw money considering the unknown animosity, which nobody seems to understand or know, but clearly there is some.”
He didn’t give an alternative for Seth Rollins, who would presumably be put back into the WWE Universal Championship picture if he doesn’t end up in the ring with Triple H in Orlando next spring.
There’s one huge reason why WWE is booking Seth vs. Triple H. What is it? Well, it’s simple: they wanted to do the match at this past year’s WrestleMania 32, and they weren’t able to because Rollins blew out his knee before the event, and he wasn’t able to compete. So, now that both men are healthy, they’re going to do the match at WrestleMania 33.
You probably shouldn’t expect Triple H to show up as a surprise in the 2017 Royal Rumble match, simply because WWE did that last year. Also, the Rumble match will probably focus a lot more on Goldberg and Brock Lesnar than it will anyone else, and Triple H isn’t really known to step back and play second fiddle to anyone.
As previously mentioned, Seth Rollins is scheduled to take on Chris Jericho at WWE Roadblock: End of the Line. So, don’t expect the Seth vs. Triple H storyline to heat up until after the Roadblock event.
The NFL’s head-to-head schedule with Monday Night Raw comes to an end in late January, so, if Meltzer is correct, Triple H will make his return to television the night after the Royal Rumble show, which won’t have any major competition.
