What Will Happen On Raw Tonight !!!
Fastlane is just about a week away now, and WWE is really hoping to make this Pay-Per-View of much higher importance and not just a filler between the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 32. A huge triple threat match is the main event for the event, and a lot is going to come to a head on Monday Night Raw, as it is the go-home show that will bring about some intrigue and brawls.
The “Five-Point Preview” for Monday Night Raw has been revealed by WWE.com, and there still needs to be a lot done for Fastlane. Yes, there is the big main event match between Brock Lesnar, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns, but other than that, there isn’t much.
So far, there are just four matches total announced for the card. One other is a United States Title match between Kalisto and Alberto Del Rio (again). The other matches are for the Divas Championship and a Divas tag team match, but that’s all so far.
Those damn, dirty Dudleys
Last week on Raw, the Dudley Boyz turned heel and attacked The Uso after a big eight-man tables match. After putting the Usos through tables, the Dudleys realized they were out for them and not the fans so there will be no more tables used or broken.
This heel turn is a move that many fans have been waiting for, and it’s one that has been a long time coming. Yes, the team is going to get a big reaction anywhere and everywhere, but they are both so much better in the role of the heel tag team.
Giants among men
The Wyatt Family is taking charge of WWE and really proving themselves to be one of the top factions in the entire company. They’ve taken out Big Show, Kane, and Ryback in the past few weeks and it’s expected that a six-man tag match may take place at Fastlane, but more will be known on Monday night.
It’s also thought that the main event of Fastlane will see interference from The Wyatt Family as they go after Brock Lesnar. This will be when the likely Bray Wyatt vs. Brock Lesnar match for WrestleMania 32 is set up.
Never go out of Styles
Another possible Fastlane match will be the rubber match between Chris Jericho and AJ Styles, but a twist may be added to it. Jericho officially turned heel on SmackDown last week and attacked Styles before cleanly winning their match later in the night.
The Miz keeps sticking his nose into the business of the two wrestling legends so it may end up as a triple threat match at the PPV.
Come at the Queen
Daniel Bryan’s retirement doesn’t mean that his entire family is out of the wrestling business. His wife, Brie Bella, is going to do what she can to keep his legacy alive as she prepares for her Divas Championship match against Charlotte at Fastlane. Expect the two competitors to meet one more time on Monday night before their match.
Running the Asylum
Dean Ambrose has really stolen the show in this feud leading up to the triple threat main event at Fastlane. He has held his own, at times, against Brock Lesnar, and they seem like the absolute focus, while Roman Reigns seems like a complete and total afterthought.
The way things are going, it seems like that rumored Dean Ambrose heel turn may not end up happening just yet. With John Cena on the shelf due to injury, he’s become one of the top babyfaces in WWE, but he may still not be able to make it to big time at WrestleMania 32.
At the end of the day, it’s going to be almost time for Fastlane, and that is when things will get interesting. For the first time in 12 years, Brock Lesnar will appear on SmackDown on Thursday night as WWE.com confirms on the Live Events page. A lot is going to happen on Monday Night Raw, and rumor has it that the show will be huge so tune in for Dean Ambrose, the Dudley Boyz, and so many more.
