Vince Mcmahon Has Big Plan For Brock Lesnar At Wrestlemania 32

It’s become clear over the last couple of weeks that Brock Lesnar will be involved in a feud with the Wyatt Family up until WrestleMania 32, where he’ll likely wrestle the faction’s leader, Bray Wyatt. But, according to Cageside Seats, WWE chairman Vince McMahon wants Lesnar to wrestle another member of the Wyatt Family in the near future, with that member being Braun Strowman.
Lesnar and Strowman briefly ran into each other during the Royal Rumble match, where Lesnar nearly took Strowman’s head off with a clothesline. But while Lesnar hit Strowman with some pretty hard shots, he was told to not suplex the big man, as that’s something that WWE wants to save for when the two of them have a one-on-one match.
There are rumors going around that Strowman will end up wrestling Undertaker at AT&T Stadium, so while Vince McMahon wants Strowman vs. Lesnar to happen in the near-future, it’s unlikely to happen at WrestleMania 32. The match also can’t happen at February’s WWE Fastlane show because Lesnar will be in the triple threat match to determine the number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Expect the Wyatt Family to get involved in that one, and cost Lesnar the match.
On March 12, WWE will be doing a live special on the WWE Network called March to WrestleMania: Live from Toronto, and Brock Lesnar is currently scheduled to have a match on the show, and he will be facing a member of the Wyatt Family, however, he won’t be facing Braun Strowman.
According to the Wrestling ObserverBrock Lesnar will be wrestling Luke Harper on March 12 in Toronto, however, that could end up changing if Vince McMahon really wants Lesnar vs. Strowman to take place. But while it’s possible that it’ll change, it’s not likely, especially if WWE is building Strowman up for Undertaker.
WWE Hall of Famer, and former play-by-play commentator for the company Jim Ross said on his podcast that he would like to see Lesnar take on Strowman, but not anytime soon. Ross advised WWE to have Strowman consistantly wrestle 10-minute matches at WWE live events for the next year, so that he’ll be ready to step in the ring with Lesnar at next year’s WrestleMania 33.
There’s no question that Strowman is still a long way away from becoming a good in-ring performer, and Bryan Alvarez of Figure Four Online had an idea on how WWE can help him get there. Alvarez suggested that WWE should have Strowman wrestle someone like Kane at every WWE live event for the next several months, because Kane could teach him how to sell, and how to work as a monster.
“Here’s the thing with (Braun Strowman), if I recall correctly, when he got brought up to the main roster, he’d had like eight matches. He was never even on NXT television. He’s totally not ready for a match with Undertaker, or anybody. I would suggest that (WWE) puts him on the road with Kane, because Kane is a big guy, who has lasted a long time. It’s not like he has great matches, but he never has a bad match, and what Braun Strowman needs to learn is how to sell, and I think Kane will teach him both sides, the offense and the selling.”
Whether Strowman is ready for it or not, it seems clear that WWE is going to put him in the ring with Undertaker in April, which could be a huge mistake, and now that Vince McMahon is pushing for it, a Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman match in the not so distant future seems likely, which is a bit of a scary thought.
