Paige Will Be In Big Problem After Her Comment On Raw Last Night !!!

We all know that wrestling is scripted and the outcomes are sometimes determined hours or even days in advance. While that does allow WWE and other major wrestling companies to create the best possible scenarios that fans will enjoy, it also makes for snafu’s like the one that occurred during the main event of Monday Night Raw.

The incident occurred during the contract signing between Divas’ champion, Charlotte, and her opponent at Survivor Series, Paige. The segment started off innocently enough with both Divas lobbing insults at each other, but quickly took an ugly turn when Charlotte mentioned her late brother, Reid Flair.

While Charlotte was in tears at the mention of her late brother, she quickly composed herself and kept hyping up her match with Paige at Survivor Series. Paige, then took a variety of verbal jabs at Charlotte — the worst of which was her stating that Charlotte’s brother didn’t have much fight in him. A very distasteful and obvious insult at Charlotte’s brother.

That insult was enough to set Charlotte off and she ended up leaping over the table to take Paige to the ground. Paige tried to escape up the ramp but was quickly speared into the barricade by an irate Charlotte. The fight continued back in the ring before referees eventually separated the two.

While I understand that this was just a mechanism to help elevate the feud between Paige and Charlotte at Survivor Series, I believe that Paige went way too far and made it personal with her comments. In fact, WWE  should be ashamed of themselves if they were aware of the comment being made before hand.

I know fans will say fans like me are the reason that the attitude era is dead and that were too thin-skinned, but a drug overdose is not something to joke about. If anything, it was a slap in the face to every superstar and diva who has suffered from a drug problem.

With that being said, WWE needs to punish Paige for her actions and make sure nothing like this ever takes place again on WWE television.  If WWE doesn’t choose to punish Paige for her actions, and I’m pretty sure that they will, it will set a dangerous precedent for what is allowed for entertainment purposes in the future.

As for what kind of punishment Paige should face, I believe it would be best to suspend her after the comments she made towards Charlotte. While that might sound quite harsh and would definitely destroy everything the WWE has planned for the two divas at Survivor Series, it’s the only appropriate action to take after such a horrific and uncalled moment.

We as fans need to remember that while wrestling is meant to be entertaining, situations like the one of Reid Flair, shouldn’t be considered entertainment at all. It should be considered a tragic accident that will affect the Flair family for the entirety of their lives.

Overdoses are no laughing matter and I really hope the WWE and its fans can realize that.
