Goldberg Has A Huge Opponent For Wrestlemania !!!!!

After destroying Brock Lesnar at the Survivor Series, many fans are wondering what is in store for Bill Goldberg. While it is unlikely is that Bill Goldberg’s quick win at the event will really be the last time fans will see him inside the ring, it is becoming obvious that the man will appear in a limited capacity. It was already rumored that Bill Goldberg’s WWE involvement will start at the Survivor Series and the end will culminate at a match with Wrestlemania 33. Now that the Survivor Series prediction has already been proven true, it looks like the rest of the rumor will most likely be true with reports of recent developments.
According to Wrestling Inc, Bill Goldberg is set to return for the January 23 episode of Raw. And it is suspiciously the last Monday night Raw before Royal Rumble that Bill Goldberg has chosen his return. IT seems to indicate that the early Bill Goldberg rumors to be true of him joining the Rumble at some capacity and starting a feud that will end at Wrestlemania 33.
While most fans think that it is a no-brainer to pit Bill Goldberg with Brock Lesnar, the man he destroyed in a quick fashion at Survivor Series. There are also some rumblings that the WWE will have other plans on what to do with Bill Goldberg. Here are the top three possible opponents for Bill Goldberg at Wrestlemania 33.

Brock Lesnar

Getting the most obvious answer out of the way is Brock Lesnar. Bill Goldberg’s flash win over Lesnar at Survivor Series has left a bad taste in the mouth of fans. It was obviously a shock as Bill Goldberg’s shock win just blew up years of building up Brock Lesnar’s aura of invincibility. This is a guy who just broke the legendary Wrestlemania streak of the Undertaker and suplexed John Cena to oblivion and the creative team at WWE just let Bill Goldberg trash Lesnar completely. It seems really odd for the WWE not to give Brock a semblance of his dignity back.
While this was a shock to many, it will definitely be a compelling story for both Bill Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. First of all, WWE has found a way to at least make Brock Lesnar look really vulnerable in the fastest way possible, enough for an interesting match with Bill Goldberg at Wrestlemania. According to Forbes, Lesnar and Goldberg will be a shoo-in for the Royal Rumble and may participate in the 30 man event. Lesnar will cost Goldberg the victory to set up a final showdown at Wrestlemania 33.

AJ Styles

According to some reports, the reason why the WWE let Bill Goldberg destroy their prized wrestler at Survivor Series is because they were left with no other options. The only way Vince McMahon could convince Goldberg to appear on again is by limiting his physical interaction in the ring. Goldberg did not want to wrestle anymore and will only allow the Survivor Series match with Lesnar to occur if he can beat him in seconds. At the Royal Rumble, he will have the aid of 30 men to carry him in the match. Goldberg is pushing 50 and is not the physical specimen he once was plus he was not really known as a great technical wrestler. The rumor suggests that Bill Goldberg could enter at No. 30 and eliminate a Brock Lesnar who entered at No. 1. This would set him up for a potential showdown with WWE champion AJ Styles at Wrestlemania 33 for one final run at the title.

John Cena

This one is the most far-fetched but if recent rumors that John Cena will be entering the Rumble himself are true, then a feud with Bill Goldberg may be brewing. Both wrestlers are known for their physical prowess in the ring and could be a match-up of physical strength. While it will not be the most technical of matches, it will definitely create large amounts of money for the company who is looking to capitalize on these limited appearance superstars.
