Goldberg Added To The Final Raw Before The Royal Rumble !!!!!

Bill Goldberg‘s return to WWE back in October is something that many wrestling fans thought would never happen again. It had been talked about for so long, but then a decade had passed and everyone sort of thought the idea had passed. Now, he is back and after squashing Brock Lesnar at the Survivor Series, he has entered himself into the 2017Royal Rumble. That won’t be all, though, as WWE has added him to Monday Night Raw so the fans get more.
The last time the fans laid eyes on Goldberg was a few weeks ago on Monday Night Raw after Survivor Series. It was then that he revealed he was not quite done and may have one more title run in him, so, he was going to hang around a bit longer and see what he could do.
Goldberg revealed at the same time that he was entering himself into the Royal Rumble and hoping to win the main event title shot at WrestleMania 33. The next week, Paul Heyman revealed that Brock Lesnar was also entering the big battle royal and the two beasts may go at it again.
But still, when are fans going to see either one of the monstrous superstars again? As reported by Wrestling News World, Lesnar isn’t currently scheduled for any other WWE events this year, but has been added to a number of events in 2017.
Goldberg? He’ll be back quite soon as he was already scheduled for an episode of Monday Night Raw in January, but now, he has been added to another. Wrestling Inc. noticed that Goldberg has been added to the Monday Night Raw on Jan. 23, 2017, which is the go-home show for the Royal Rumble.
Looking at the official website for WWE and their Live Events page, Goldberg has indeed been added to the list offeatured superstars for Raw on Jan. 23. The event will take place at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, and while Lesnar is not yet on the card, he will likely be added in the coming weeks.
Along with Goldberg, other superstars currently scheduled to appear are Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and a host of others. You can bet this will be a stacked show with the Rumble happening less than a week from this night.
This is the second Monday Night Raw that Goldberg will be on in January as he is also scheduled for Tampa show on Jan. 2, 2017. Lesnar is not scheduled for that show either, but more superstars will indeed be added before it takes place.
By the time he makes his next appearance for WWE, Goldberg will have turned 50-years-old, but he seems to be in great shape. Some questioned his stamina and ability to wrestle a long match after the short squash at Survivor Series
Well, his contract with the company was reworked and he is now sticking around at least through the end of January. Many believe he’s going to be appearing through WrestleMania 33 in early April and at least wrestling a couple more matches.
For now, Goldberg is only scheduled for the two Raws and the Royal Rumble, but more dates are expected to be added. A lot will be told for his future during the battle royal next month and fans can’t wait to see where it goes.
Goldberg was expected to return to WWE for one match and one match only. Even then, his appearances were expected to be limited as well. Now, he’s in the Royal Rumble, could possibly have a match at WrestleMania 33, and is appearing on multiple episodes of Monday Night Raw. His feud with Brock Lesnar seems far from over, but it’s going to be interesting to see if the company moves forward with that or another match-up.
