Big Plans Waiting For Fin Balor !!!!!

There were rumors about Finn Balor transitioning from NXT to WWE’s main roster for several months. As the WWE Draft got closer and Balor’s role on NXT became less featured, it was apparent that Finn was finally bound for WWE television. There were a dozen rumors about Finn Balor’s status with WWE, including some concern that Vince McMahon would ruin his run.
Alas, his debut on Raw last week proved to be anything but disappointing. First, Balor defeated Cesaro, WWE’s current United States Champion Rusev, and Kevin Owens simultaneously in a Fatal Four Way match. Later on in the main event, Finn defeated Roman Reigns clean to set a match with Seth Rollins at WWE Summerslam for the WWE Universal Championship of Raw.
During his debut on WWE’s main roster, Finn Balor defeated three top wrestlers, including the United States Champion. He participated in the main event of Monday Night Raw and defeated Roman Reigns during that match to put an exclamation point on his WWE main roster debut. Needless to say, WWE officials are taking Finn Balor extremely seriously as a future star.
Recently, Finn Balor did an interview with WWE.com about his debut and much more regarding his wrestling career. During the interview, the upcoming match with Seth Rollins at WWE Summerslam was discussed, and Finn revealed that he is not only one of his most anticipated opponents n WWE, but there is already talk about branding Balor “the face of the future.” Below is what Finn Balor had to say about potentially being labeled as “the face of WWE’s future” after only one night on the main roster.
“You know, people are always going to label you as something. People can label me as the face of the future, but I’ve been doing this for 16 years. For me, this is nothing new. I’m very assured of my ability when I’m in the ring. Sure, I’m new to Raw and I’m new to WWE, but I’m not new to being in the ring. In the ring, I consider myself quite capable. I can handle myself. That’s a very flattering moniker, to be called the face of the future, and hopefully, I can live up to that. But for me, you know, it’s my past, present and hopefully my future. Wrestling is my life. So for me, it’s not just the future. It’s literally everything I do.”
Based on how WWE officials booked him on Raw, Finn Balor’s rise to superstardom in WWE is going to be done as quickly as possible. If the rumors proved anything, it was that the higher-ups within WWE planned Balor’s debut on the main roster for a long time, so there is nothing to be concerned about and his position going into WWE Summerslam was complete proof of that.
Finn Balor will have his first WWE PPV match against Seth Rollins for a brand new WWE Heavyweight Championship, and he is most likely going to debut “The Demon” at WWE Summerslam. There isn’t much else that WWE officials can do to make him a top star within this short of a timespan. Finn should have a smooth flight to the top of the WWE ladder.
On paper, Balor should defeat Rollins at WWE Summerslam because it will force that rivalry to continue over the next few months, and it could thwart his ascension to the top of Raw if Rollins defeats him in their first big match as well as limit the effect “The Demon” has on a big match situations. The chances for Balor to walk out of Brooklyn the WWE Universal Champion are high, which proves he will be “a face of WWE’s future.” The future isn’t written yet, but Finn Balor’s name is written on the wall.
