Huge Surprise Planned For Wrestlemania

WWE does like to pull a fast one on their fans from time-to-time and swerve them as they say in the wrestling business. Well, it looks as if one big change could already be coming for the WWE Title Match on Sunday, but there may be more. Apparently, there are rumors flying around that the main event of WrestleMania 32 may not be the match many expect it to be, and there is also a huge surprise planned and it could come to light at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony on Saturday.
According to The Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvrarez says that there is going to be a major surprise of some kind happening on Sunday at WrestleMania 32. One thing is certain as of Friday though, and it’s that the surprise won’t be the debut of Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows, the former members of the Bullet Club.
Those two may end up debuting on Monday Night Raw, along with Finn Balor, but that remains to be seen as well.
An interesting note, though, is that Alvarez thinks that the big surprise will become clearer as of Saturday night. Anyone paying attention to wrestling knows that Saturday night is the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony inducting the class of 2016 and there are some rather big names included.
There’s also the possible new award being given out on Saturday, which is the as of yet unannounced “WWE Legacy Award.”
Now, that award may not have anything to do with the “surprise” on Sunday, but it will be interesting to see how the Hall of Fame and WrestleMania 32 are connected in that manner.
One of the key things to remember is that Sting is leading the class of WWE Hall of Fame inductees this year. Rumors have been flying of his impending retirement and that it would be announced during his induction speech, but maybe there is more to it.
Recently, Sting has spoken on how he hasn’t yet said he’s retired even though he knows there are serious injuries he’s been dealing with for months. That being said, he also let it be known that his dream match is still to face The Undertaker at a WrestleMania.
This then leads into the idea of which match will be headlining the main event WrestleMania 32 on Sunday. While it is automatically believed that the WWE World Heavyweight Championship pitting Triple H vs. Roman Reigns is in that slot, it may not necessarily be true.
WrestleZone is now reporting that WWE’s current plans for the main event on Sunday is the Hell in a Cell match between The Undertaker and Shane McMahon. It’s been rumored that this match could move up to that slot, but nothing has ev een confirmed about that.
Now, as of Friday, the line-up for WrestleMania 32 is that Shane-O Mac and The Undertaker will be in the main event spot. Will that have something to do with the surprise being somewhat revealed on Saturday night?
If Sting declares his retirement or not on Saturday night, it could be what comes into play on Sunday. Should Sting announce his retirement, there could be a tribute of some sort at WrestleMania 32 and tribute to him.
At the WWE Hall of Fame, if Sting makes it known that he isn’t yet retiring, then it leaves the possible future match with The Undertaker still an option. Maybe that could lead to interference from Sting in the main event Hell in a Cell match on Sunday.
For now, that is all assumption, but it does appear as if WWE does have a big surprise planned for WrestleMania 32 on Sunday. If the reveal may happen on Saturday at the Hall of Fame ceremony, then it could lead to something having to do with The Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon Hell in a Cell match which may now be the main event.
